Outright owner-occupiers - those occupiers who own the home they reside in without a mortgage.
Mortgagors – those occupiers who own the home they reside in, but do so encumbered with a mortgage.
Renters – Those who rent the premises they reside in.
There has been a long term trend in Australia in terms of a lower percentage of outright ownership, however in 2021 the trend was reversed in favour of higher homeownership.
Projections are compiled using a linear regression of what has occurred historically.
The projections and actual data should not be relied upon in making investment decisions.
